Update your PS3 Firmware to 3.0 Now: Check Video

As promised by Sony, PS3 firmware 3.0 is available now.

And for those who can't get online download the updates below.
 

• Download the update.
• Create a folder named 'PS3' on a storage media( Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, USB drive or PSP).
• Within the folder 'PS3', create another folder named 'UPDATE' (This folder name is case sensitive and must appear in all capital letters).
• Save the file download to this folder.
• Disconnect the storage device and connect it to your PS3 via the slots under the slot cover or the USB connectors depending on the device you're using.
• Navigate to Settings on the PS3 XMB Menu.
• Select [System Update] ---> [Update via Storage Media].
• Select the connected device and your PS3 will install the update data stored there.
