According to this site a dongle called PS Jailbreak allows you to dump your original PS3 games onto a FAT32 HDD and play games from there. Check video below.

 

Haven't post anything about homebrews for while but this one might get your attention.
Seems the PS3 three years plus of hack/homebrews free is about to be ended by a hacker going by Geohot.

Some homebrews are just useless while others very usefull and this one definitelly merit the very usefull title.

Displaying your handheld console on your TV always a dream and FuSa SD v1.0.50b will just do that and in a very great transfer speed.

Sinix360 a so claimed new 360 emulator for pc video has been unveilled, although it's just a beta and far from running commercial games, it will be a huge step in the homebrews community if it turns out to be real , and of course you have to have a really crazy spec PC to run it.

A hacker of the name of ifcaro has released a program called PS3 USBADVANCE which allows the boot of PS2 games on PS3 via HDD, but it currently works only on Japanese PS3.

A PAL version is expected soon.

To get this to work , the program requires also the use of Swap Magic v3.6-3.8 to load the ELF file.

PSP firmware 5.03 has been released with no changelog but homebrew fans around the web said it doesn't like that GripShift exploit which permit the use of homebrew on the PSP 3000, so to speak, with this update the exploit gone with the wind.

How To:

• Download the firmware 5.03.
• Connect your PSP to your pc via usb.
• Open the PSP root and locate PSP-->Game-->Update and put the eboot.pbp you download there.
• Quit usb mode now.
• Back on PSP XMB, navigate to Game-->Memory stick and find the update
• Lunch the update and follow on screen info.

You are a console crazy who is tired of using keyboard or weird controllers while playing on your pc ? no worry help has arrived in the form of four Windows Drivers for the PS3 Dualshock 3 Controllers with support of sixaxis and rumble released by a Japanese coder.

So now you can use your ps3 dualshock 3 on your win machine.

There are 4 drivers:

• ds3drv_1.02 - Normal Driver
• ds3drv_dx_1.02 - dx driver
• SDDriverSetting - utility to tweak some settings
• ForceFeedbackDriver - rumble driver, you need to install the first or second driver too

► Installation Process

• Download the first or second driver
• Open the device manager and search for the dualshock/sixaxis under Human Interface Device .
• Choose update driver and select the driver that you just downloaded

Install Rumble 

According to Ps3news " This automatically, Copies your system backup, copies and renames the .pkg file, and then copies the files in the correct order to get the Corrupt icon on your ps3..Much easier for some people".
